Terms & Conditions

The Alliance for Metal Clay Arts Worldwide, Inc. (AMCAW) will present a virtual event, Metal Clay Live, from May 1 to May 5, 2025. This event includes two days of presentations on May 1 and 2, 2025, followed by three days of instructor-led workshops from May 3 to May 5, 2025.

Metal Clay Live will be hosted on the Zoom Events platform. All participants must access the platform using a Zoom account (free or paid) or by providing an email address.  Please refer to Zoom’s privacy policy.

Each ticket for the Metal Clay Live event and any desired workshop(s) must be purchased individually. Tickets are for personal use only and may not be shared or distributed. This includes workshop or presentation recordings.  Tickets are not transferable.

AMCAW is not responsible for incorrect email addresses submitted during registration.

Presentations

The presentation schedule is subject to change. Cancellations or new presentations may be added. Please check this website regularly for the most up-to-date schedule.

There is no limit to the number of tickets available for the Metal Clay Live event. Tickets will remain on sale until May 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. (EST).

Workshops

Workshops are available exclusively to attendees who purchase a Metal Clay Live event ticket. If a workshop ticket is purchased without an accompanying event ticket, AMCAW will issue a request for prompt payment. Failure to complete the purchase within the specified timeframe will result in the workshop ticket being refunded, less a $25 administrative fee, and the workshop registration will be canceled.

Workshop registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees may purchase multiple workshops, but each has a live-participant limit set by the instructor to ensure an optimal virtual experience. Tickets to live workshops will remain on sale until Monday, May 5, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. (EST).

After the live workshops conclude, tickets for recorded versions will go on sale starting May 6, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. (EST) and will remain available until May 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. (EST). All ticket holders—live and recorded—can access workshop recordings until July 18, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. (EST).

The workshop schedule is subject to change. Cancellations or new workshops may be added. Please check this website regularly for the most up-to-date schedule.

Please read the workshop description carefully before enrolling to ensure the workshop matches your skill level. AMCAW assumes no liability regarding the appropriateness of the workshop for your skill set. All skill-level indicators are general guides only.

Students must provide their own tools and materials to complete the class and will be responsible for firing their own projects, where applicable. All kit purchases and transactions are between students and instructors. AMCAW is not liable for any aspect of these transactions.

Video Recording Information

Workshop and presentation recordings are for personal use only. Distribution outside of the Metal Clay Live event, including through any media or third-party website, is strictly prohibited without authorization from AMCAW. Redistribution of recordings without compensation per viewing is prohibited.

If a live workshop session recording is unavailable for any reason, the instructor agrees to provide a complete video with detailed instructions to AMCAW for distribution to students within 48 hours of the original class. In case of extraordinary circumstances beyond AMCAW’s control (e.g. natural disasters, pandemics, etc.), the live event will be cancelled.  Presentation and workshop recordings will be available on AMCAW’s website at a later date.

Recording links will be available only to registered students and will remain on the Zoom Events platform until July 18, 2025, at which time they will be permanently removed.

By participating in live workshops, you consent to have your voice and image captured and recorded, viewable by anyone who has purchased the workshop either live or as a recording.

AMCAW respects your privacy. We do not collect, store, or share your personal data beyond what is required for event registration and participation. Your information, such as your email address, is used solely for the purpose of accessing the Metal Clay Live event and workshops. We will not share your information with third parties or use it for any purpose unrelated to this event. AMCAW privacy policy.

Unacceptable Behavior

AMCAW reserves the right to refuse registrations or dismiss students without refund for disruptive behavior. This includes participants hosting “watch parties.” All viewers must be registered and have paid the class fee.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be granted for missed live workshops or presentations. Instructors may cancel classes due to low registration before January 30, 2025.
