Tamara Honaman is a passionate mixed-media artist who loves teaching and sharing her knowledge. She travels nationally and internationally to teach, demonstrate, and present on jewelry-making and business topics.

Tamara’s work and designs have been featured in magazines, books, and television programs. She also appears in videos on various industry websites, enthusiastically sharing her love for art materials. Tamara has authored instructional videos and books, including Secrets to Metal Clay Success and Secrets to Art Clay Success. Co-author of Polymer Clay Master Class, founding editor of Step-by-Step Beads and Step-by-Step Wire magazines, and former editor of Beadwork magazine.

Tamara played a key role in launching Bead Fest. She remains passionate about supporting others on their maker journey. Tamara has a new metal clay book coming out Fall 2025, Schiffer Publishing, hosts the Heart & Hands of a Maker podcast, serves on the NAMTA Education Committee, and leads TamaraHonaman.com.
