Presentation: Create Tutorials for Fun and Profit
Presenter: Lisa Barnes
Do you create unique metal clay projects and love to share your passion for making things? Learn how you can develop a comprehensive project tutorial that will be a shoo-in for publication, increasing awareness of your creations as well as providing extra income!
Teaching and creating tutorials use a different skillset than making a project: You must create a piece that presents techniques of a comparable difficulty level; consider content for different learning styles; determine the order and breakdown of steps; write clear instructions; and create and choose effective visual content. Not to mention meeting deadlines and appeasing publishers!
Learn from an experienced creator of educational content, both online and in print, and maybe you can see your name on an AMCAW tutorial soon!
