Presentation: From Polymer to Precious: Streamlining Sculpting in Metal Clay
Presenter: AJ Newell
I’ll demonstrate how to overcome these challenges by first sculpting your design in polymer clay, which offers more flexibility and time for detailed work. Once your sculpture is complete, I’ll demonstrate the process of making a silicone mold. This mold then becomes a valuable tool, allowing you to easily recreate the form in metal clay, where you can refine it further during the greenware stage.
