When is the Metal Clay Live Event taking place?
The virtual event will be live on Thursday, May 1, 2025, to Friday, May 2, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. EST to 4:00 p.m. EST. This will be followed by three days of workshops from Saturday, May 3, 2025, to Monday, May 5, 2025, also from 9:00 a.m. EST to 4:00 p.m. EST.
When do tickets go on sale?
  • AMCAW Members: Ticket sales open January 20, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. EST with a limited-time discount for event tickets.
  • General Public: Sales open March 3, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. EST at the standard rate.
Tickets will remain on sale until May 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. EST.
Do I need an event ticket to purchase a workshop?

Yes, an event ticket is required to attend any workshop. If you purchase a workshop ticket without an event ticket, we’ll notify you by email.

If the event ticket isn’t purchased promptly, we’ll issue a refund for your workshop ticket minus a $25 administrative fee, and your workshop registration will be canceled.

Can I purchase multiple workshops?
Absolutely! You can buy multiple workshops; however, each workshop has a limit on live participants set by the instructor for an optimal virtual experience.

Once the live workshop has been held, you can purchase tickets for the recorded version, which will be available until May 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. EST. All ticket holders, both live and recorded, can access the recordings until July 18, 2025.

Why can I only buy one ticket at a time?

The Zoom platform only allow one ticket to be purchased at a time.

You will need to purchase your event ticket first, then return to the registration page and purchase the workshops you are interested in one at a time.

We understand this may be frustrating and appreciate your patience with ticket purchasing as the registration format is beyond our control.

How can I tell if a workshop has sold out?

Workshops are listed on the website. Sold-out live workshops will be marked as such. Once the live workshop is over you can still purchase recorded versions until May 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. EST. There will be no limit to the number of recordings that can be purchased.  So if you really want a workshop, you should be able to buy it one way or another.

How long will I have access to the event recordings?
Recordings of all event presentations and workshops will be accessible until July 18, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. EST. After this date, all recordings will no longer be available.
What device should I use to view the event?

A computer provides the best experience for navigating the event. Tablets work too, but phones may make it harder to view details and move around the platform.

Chat Locations: On computers, the chat is on the right side; location varies on phones.

How do I access the Metal Clay Live event or workshops?
Metal Clay Live will take place on Zoom. Once the platform opens, ticket holders can access the event by logging in with either a Zoom account (free or paid) or their email.
*Tip: We recommend using a Zoom account, as logging in with email requires a new code each time.

Can I download the workshop and presentation videos to watch offline?

The lobby will close permanently on July 18, 2025 and access to all video recordings for presentations and workshops will cease on that day.

When can I log in to explore the platform?
